Today, I read news about private insurance firms. There was a survey that private insurance firms are more ahead from LIC. The survey shows that HDFC standard life, ICICI Lombard and Bajaj Alliance are in the competition of LIC.
I was amazed the survey shows different things however the people still believe on the LIC. What was the cause behind it? I think in these days urban area is more conscious and try to insure by private firm to get more facilities however the rural areas people still not targeted by private insurance firm.
Another matter is urban people have more money and they have more insurance by private firm to invest their money. This is my point of view about the private firms to become popular.
